The Keith Sweater – A Soft Launch

This winter, we’re stepping beyond the screen with a limited-edition wool sweater featuring Keith — an unreleased typeface — knitted directly into the fabric in Reykjavík.
A quiet debut for a new voice in type, rendered not in pixels but in 100% Icelandic wool.

The sweater is produced in collaboration with Varma, a local knitwear company whose deep connection to material and place resonates with us. We share more than a project — the idea was born while working on Varma’s new visual identity, making this collaboration a continuation of an ongoing conversation between form, texture, and story.

Though the Keith typeface remains unreleased, its presence here is deliberate and tactile. A variable pixel typeface with no ascenders, no descenders, and plenty of attitude, it translates digital geometry into soft structure — each letterform woven into the knit as code becomes cloth. The result is both garment and specimen: graphic, grounded, and unmistakably warm.

Blending typographic discipline with Nordic warmth, the project sits somewhere between fashion statement and type tease. It’s for those who find comfort in grids and wool alike. Keith keeps its cool, the sweater keeps you warm.

Made in limited quantities, like the landscape that shaped it.
